General

The Neumann TLM103 mt Mono Set includes a deluxe case filled with a TLM 103 microphone and an EA1 shock mount. Since the TLM 103 is a highly sensitive microphone, this shock mount is not exactly superfluous and prevents floor vibrations from reaching the microphone via the stand.

Characteristics of the TLM 103

The TLM 103 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone fitted with a capsule based on the legendary U 87 A, which is known for its presence boost in the high-mid frequencies and its extremely consistent cardioid pickup pattern. Compared to the U 87, the TLM 103 doesn't have an output transformer, which means it has less self-noise and doesn't saturate as quickly. It's an excellent choice for modern-sounding vocal, acoustic guitar and drum recordings.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

Neumann TLM 103 mt Mono Set Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone
