Neumann TLM 103 Studio Set Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone

Really happy with this mic. I bought it as a mic for life - for an amateur musician it is expensive but the internet is pretty much unanimous that for that money you're not going to find a more dependable, versatile mic. It's stood the test of a couple of decades of use and is still raved about by a wide range of top musicians and producers. I upgraded from the Rode NT1a to this and the sense of clarity is great. It feels good singing into something that sounds like this and if you feel good you'll make your best recordings.

If you want that U87 sound but don't need different polar patterns, pad or LF cut then, in my opinion, this is the mic to get.
It's a Neumann so obviously it sounds great and is built like a tank. If you're a wealthy producer who can afford lots of microphones and can pick and choose depending on the sound of your performer's voice then, fine, there are lots of great mics out there. If, like me, you can only afford one really good mic, this does the job very, very well.

Très satisfait de ce Neumann TLM 103 Studio Set. Même en Stock B, le produit est arrivé en excellent état et fonctionne parfaitement. Le son est très détaillé, propre et précis, surtout sur les voix. On entend immédiatement beaucoup plus de nuances qu’avec un microphone plus entrée/milieu de gamme. Très bon choix pour l’enregistrement vocal, le mixage et un usage studio sérieux. Heel blij met deze hoofdtelefoon! Ik gebruik hem in combinatie met mijn Focusrite Scarlett 16i16 voor het oefenen met basgitaar, piano en akoestische gitaar.

Het enige kleine minpuntje vind ik het krulsnoer; persoonlijk geef ik de voorkeur aan een recht snoer. Maar dat weegt absoluut niet op tegen de uitstekende geluidskwaliteit, het draagcomfort en de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.
Kortom: een uitstekende hoofdtelefoon die wat mij betreft de volle 5 sterren verdient!
