There is a successor to SE Electronics's popular SE2200a. It has a higher quality and offers much more possibilities. The SE2200a is by far the best sold SE Electronics microphone. This means that there are a lot of users around the world. All these users have their own demands. These demands have been met in the SE2200a II!

The SE2200a II and its multi-pattern possibilities

The SE2200a II version has a surprise on board. It is fitted with multiple, adjustable pickup patterns. This means that it can be used for a wide range of applications. From now on, you can easily select a cardioid, Figure 8 and an omni-directional pickup pattern. The microphone can thus be used for vocals but also for instruments and as an overhead. You can experiment with positions and pickup patterns and create the best recording quality possible.

Other special features of the condenser microphone

The multi-pattern option is not the only possibility. This microphone has also been remodelled. It now has a solid casing, but more specifically a rubber-like, black coating which provides the microphone with a stylish finish. It hasn’t been added solely for its look but also because it is very practical. The rubber coating also eliminates chassis resonance. That's not all, however. In order to complement the microphone’s new look, a new shock mount has also been designed. It completely matches the colour of the microphone. The shock mount attenuates vibrations and shocks. Delivery also includes a specially designed pop filter that can easily be mounted onto the shock mount. You can also leave it out if your want to record instruments.
