General
The Soyuz Lakeside microphone preamp is a great addition to any collection of Soyuz microphones, or other microphones for that matter. This hand-built preamp brings out the best in vocals thanks to high-quality input and output transformers, and features a variable high pass filter so you can rein in the low frequencies as needed — ideal for close-miking. This filter has an induction-style design to guarantee maximum transparency and, in addition to that, the Lakeside Preamp comes equipped with a practical, front-mounted hi-Z DI input so you can also hook up a guitar or bass and treat it to the same character-packed sound.
