Even little step sequencers grow up. Only a couple of years ago, Korg released the SQ-1, and now present its bigger brother: the SQ-64 step sequencer. An all-around studio and live-performance machine fitted with 85 buttons and 6 rotary controls, the SQ-64 is anything but little and will no doubt claim a prominent spot in your set-up. Even more so if that's a Eurorack system, because this powerful bit of kit is fully equipped to be hooked up to one of those and features a small army of matching inputs and outputs, including MIDI (mini-jacks) and USB-MIDI.

In terms of numbers, the SQ-64 offers three melodic tracks with a length of 64 steps, and that times 16. For each track, you can adjust the gate, pitch and modulation per step, and there's even a drum track consisting of 16 monophonic tracks, where the polarity and voltage can be tweaked per output to optimally match your gear.
