Looking to change up your sound? The STRING9 stompbox by Electro Harmonix gives you the pick of nine string ensemble and string-synth sounds, where 'Symphonic' brings out the sound of a complete symphony orchestra and will even go an octave down in the lower register for extra fullness of sound. 'JUNE-O' grants you access to the legendary sound of a legendary sound, while 'PCM' serves up more compact, vintage string keyboard sounds and 'Floppy' gets you that typical wobbling sound of a certain famous optical disc playback sampler.

The STRING9: Deeply Inspiring String, Wind and Choir Sounds

In addition to AARP and Crewman presets, the STRING9 offers up three inspiring sounds with the EHX Freeze effect mixed in, allowing you to sustain your strings, orchestral and choir sounds for as long as you want. Just like the previous Electro Harmonix pedals in the popular 9-Series, this fresh stompbox lets you dial in the volume for both the wet and dry signal and comes finished with separate jack outputs for either. Last but not least, the CTRL controls make a welcome return and can be used to tweak the two most important parameters of the each of the nine sounds loaded into the STRING9.
