General
The Yamaha CHR Series provides passive, full range stompers loaded with 10 inch or 15 inch woofers. This 10 inch edition speaker is ideal for completing fixed installations; can be set up horizontally as well as vertically; and comes loaded with a custom-designed woofer that delivers powerfully defined lows with minimal distortion, and has been teamed up with the accurate mid and high frequency reproduction of a custom-designed 1.4 inch tweeter. Tight and detailed sound overall is assured by the considered cabinet design, where the plywood housing actually improves acoustic performance and has been built to fully withstand the test of time. Combine the Yamaha CHR10 with a Yamaha PX Series amplifier and gain the full support of DSP technology, fully opening up the potential of this speaker as well as in-depth tools for fine tuning.
