General

When Roland released the original Space Echo in 1974, it turned out to be a banger that remained in production for a whopping fourteen years. Now, you can get the warm sound of that iconic effect in the form of the Boss RE-2. Just like the original pedal, this faithful reproduction features three tape heads and eleven different modes. In addition, you're getting the spring reverb of the RE-201 plus a modern stereo function; a wow & flutter control for accurate tape degradation emulation (or a natural chorus effect); and clean, dry and wet signal routing options. To finish, the BOSS RE-2 Space Echo comes loaded with a tap tempo function and can be expanded by hooking up external footswitches like an expression pedal. Whatever your plans are, the RE-2 won't only help you make them come to fruition, but will add a touch of magic in the process.
