The Duesenberg Julia Black is a guitar you simply cannot fail to notice. Duesenberg Split/King Dual-Coil: two in one

At the neck you’ll find a Domino P90, known for its warm and direct character. The bridge houses the truly special component: the Duesenberg Split/King Dual-Coil. This isn’t just a standard coil-split, but a fully-fledged single-coil that you can combine with a second coil via a switch (next to the tremolo) to achieve an authentic humbucker sound! This lets you switch effortlessly from crystal-clear clean tones to heavy overdrive. An additional Direct Out switch even routes the bridge pickup directly to the output for the purest signal possible.

Playability and finish

The neck is crafted from a single piece of maple with a rosewood fingerboard and a comfortable Medium D neck profile. The Diamond Deluxe Tremolo ensures smooth tremolo effects, stable tuning and hassle-free string changes: the lever rotates 360 degrees and can be adjusted in length and angle to suit your preference. All frets are PLEK-processed, after which Duesenberg polishes them by hand and fine-tunes the guitar. The result is a neck that feels just right straight away, with no rough spots.
