The Starplayer TV DLX (deluxe) is receiving a targeted update that further refines the instrument without altering its character. New finishes, an updated pickup combination and a different control layout make this semi-acoustic guitar feel just that little bit more responsive to play. The familiar fundamentals remain intact: a sturdy semi-hollow body, two F-holes and a floating pickguard ensure that recognisable Duesenberg look. This Starplayer is finished in a Light Antique Burst colour.

Pickups and controls

The body, featuring a domed top made of flamed maple and a sustain block, delivers an open, lively response that’s at home in virtually any genre. New additions are the two Duesenberg Grand Vintage humbuckers in both the neck and bridge positions. The controls have been moved from the pickguard to the body of the instrument. This means you’re less likely to bump them accidentally and it’s easier to make adjustments whilst playing. With the Duesenberg Radiator Tremolo, you can still add tremolo effects to your playing, featuring needle and nylon bearings for precision and a freely rotating arm that adapts to your playing style. The neck is crafted from a single piece of maple and features a medium D-shaped neck profile. Further enhancing playing comfort is the Indian rosewood fingerboard, which has been fully PLEK-treated for a consistent playing feel. Each guitar is then hand-adjusted and signed by a luthier. It comes with a Duesenberg Custom Line case and a certificate of authenticity. The Duesenberg TV DLX is a truly premium instrument that will grow with you for a lifetime!
