The Duesenberg Starplayer TV has a whole host of admirers, and that’s hardly surprising. It looks stunning and has that classic Duesenberg sound. This Galaxy Purple Burst version of the Starplayer TV is fitted with a Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola: one of the better vibrato units of its kind. The medium D-shaped maple neck is made from a single piece and is set into the semi-hollow body. The body features a domed spruce top and a domed maple back with cream-coloured binding. Supplied complete with the very sturdy Custom Line case.

And then there’s the sound! Thanks to the Duesenberg Domino P90 in the neck position and the Duesenberg GrandVintage humbucker at the bridge, it feels as though you’re standing at the cradle of rock & roll! The P90 delivers airy-sounding chords with a bold edge, whilst the classically wound humbucker produces full-bodied leads. The middle position of the 3-way switch features a special circuit that filters low frequencies from the humbucker’s sound. The 22 frets are medium-jumbo sized, making this guitar extremely playable. All in all, this is a highly versatile instrument that can be used for many more musical styles than just rock.

Duesenberg took its name from the famous car brand of the 1920s. That car brand stood for elegance, luxury and mechanical precision. The German company Duesenberg Guitars has adopted these qualities.
