One of the most sought-after Duesenberg creations, the Starplayer TV brings all the elegance of a semi-hollow body with an arched top and back, and all the sonic grace of a Duesenberg-designed pickup loadout. This particular edition of the Starplayer TV also features a Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola tailpiece, which is one of the most stable vibrato units going and supports the light and expressive playability of a D-profile set-in maple neck, a set of twenty-two medium-jumbo frets and the comfortably arched maple back and soundboard. This undisputed classic comes tucked up inside its own Duesenberg Custom Line case.
The Duesenberg Starplayer TV: The Birth of Rock & Roll
This model bears the much-loved sound of a Domino P90 at the neck and a Duesenberg GrandVintage humbucker at the bridge. This is basically a rock-and-roll dreamteam, where the P90 packs chords with sweet and airy openness and the humbucker frames leads with the fat edge of a classic dual-coil. When the three-way pickup switch is flipped into the middle position, a special circuit is activated to filter out the lower frequencies, leaving a sparkling, shimmering output behind and completing a versatile tonal array.

ik heb op 11 -9-2024 deze Duesenberg starplayer TV Black Sparkle gekocht. Zoals voorzien is de gitaar geleverd op 13-9-2024 . De gitaar zat in een doos van bax-shop. IN dze doos de hardshell case van Duesenberg.
De gitaar is gewon prachtig. . Bij nazicht van de lak, de binding, f-hole en zo , was er nergens een kleine afwijking te bespeuren.. De afwerking van "black Sparkle" is gewoon schitterend. De actie mooi laag,de trem voelt fantastisch.
Ik heb eerst bijna twee uren zitten tokkelen op de gitaar zonder versterker. Een geweldige sustain, de hals voelt heel goed voor mijn relatieve kleine handen.(Nek) Minder dik dan mijn Gibson es 335.Eenmaal ingeplugd....wauw....de p90 lekker donker en de humbucker (low output) klinkt luider dan de p90.....samen mooi uitgebalanceerd. (versterker is Vox ac4 head en cabinet 30W) Ik speel vooral clean.......De Duesenberg klinkt machtig......Ergens tussen een Gretsch en de ES335 in......benden van de strings gaat vlotter dan op de ES335.

Een aanrader voor hen die graag semi-holow 's bespelen.Ik speel niet in een band endoe zo wat mijn eigen ding.....maar deze gitaar is een blijvertje...Tussen de rode gibson es 335, de blauwe PRS zach Meyers, de gouden dessert D'Angelico Deluxe bedford semi hollow en de klassieke Eastman T486, staat de duesenberg met de zwarte sprankelende finish mooi te blinken....
