The Rode NTG5 shotgun microphone is a gift from heaven for film makers and sound technicians. This professional microphone weighs just 76 grams and can withstand any type of weather. A pistol-grip and plush windshield come included.
The NTG5 In Detail
The NTG5 has been newly developed from the ground up and the first thing to strike you are the NTG5's circular openings instead of the standard slits on most shotgun mics. With it, Rode has managed to create a super-compact microphone with a smooth off-axis response. The included PG2-R pistol-grip allows you to effortlessly make sound recordings or can be mounted to a boompole while the WS 10 wind shield lets you use the NTG5 even on a windy day.
