General
The Peavey PVM 480 is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone with a super-cardioid pickup pattern and a broad frequency range, making it ideal for sampling as well as focussed recordings of various instruments and bits of kit, especially hi-hats and cymbals. Thanks to the maximum SPL of 128dB and a -45 dB sensitivity rating, distortion is kept to an absolute minimum. The PVM 480 comes including a swivel adapter and a windshield.
