People who own a recording studio tend to acquire so much gear over the years, that after a while they'll find themselves in need of a central controller. Fortunately, Mackie provides the perfect solution, in the shape of the Big Knob. This device owes its name to the large volume knob that takes a central position on the control panel. Of course, the Big Knob is capable of more than just controlling your sound levels.

Mackie Big Knob: central control

A built-in talkback microphone puts you in direct contact with the artists working in the recording booth. It can be operated by means of a foot switch, so your hands are free for other tasks. With the Big Knob's source system, you can control several monitor speakers, making it the central switching module in your studio chain.

Connectors

This Mackie features sixteen 6.3mm jack output connectors (eight stereo), and various buttons and knobs that allow you to adjust dB levels. At the top you'll find two headphone outputs, which enable you to hear both your mix output and your various sources. Mackie's Big Knob is more than just a big volume knob - it's a comprehensive system that controls all kinds of inputs and outputs.

Mackie Big Knob monitor controller

Precies wat ik nodig had. meerdere inputs zonder dat het een mixer is die het geluid kleurt.
Meerdere outputs voor t afmixen op verschillende monitors.

Talkback nog niet kunnen testen.

Tot nu toe heel tevreden.
