The Genelec M040 monitor is the ideal speaker for small home studios. As part of the M series, together with the M030, Genelec have designed these monitors to provide a quality solution for smaller spaces that wouldn't be too heavy on your wallet. So if you're looking for a great, diverse monitor for a smaller room, you're in the right place!
Features of the M040 Monitor
The M040 features a unique design with environmental friendliness in minded. To be specific, the monitor has been given a stand-by mode function, so that it will switch off automatically when it hasn't been used for an hour. Of course, it turns right back on once it detects an incoming signal. Besides that, the housing is also made from recyclable, die-cast material consisting of wood and fibres.
Technical Details of the M040
The M040 monitor is fitted with a 6.5-inch woofer for the mids and lows, which is accompanied by a 1-inch tweeter for the highs. A class D amp provides the bi-amplification for the monitor, allocating 50 Watts for the tweeter and 80 for the woofer. Finally, you can connect your audio source via XLR, 6.35mm jack or RCA, whether it's a studio mixer or an audio interface

Je bent nog wel even met het zoeken naar de 'ideale' positie voor de monitor. Het is dan ook raadzaam om je hier over in te lezen.

Wat extra ondersteuning in het laag erbij is wel een aanrader. ( afhankelijk van de muziek soort )
Sprankelend hoog en niet vermoeiend in het gehoor.
Het blijft verbazen wat deze in hun mars hebben.
Ze schakelen gewoon in standby bij geen signaal. dat zou alle audio app. moeten doen.
Ik ben er erg blij mee , en de levering van Bax-shop verliep keurig.
