The Korg Krome workstation is an affordable, lightweight keyboard that has been modelled after the popular Kronos series and offers the ideal combination of high-quality sounds and inspiring functions. The Krome workstation is available in three sizes, featuring 61 or 73 semi-weighted keys or, in this case, 88 hammer action weighted keys. The Krome is portable, easy to use and performs better than any other keyboard in the same price range. Thanks to a USB port it can be connected to your computer, and a built-in SD card reader is also at your disposal. The Korg Krome is the ideal workstation for creative live performers, songwriters, studio producers and other musicians.
The remarkable realism of the Korg Krome 88-key workstation
The Korg Krome features hundreds of built-in sounds, including a number of highly realistic grand pianos that have been borrowed from the Kronos series. Each of the 88 weighted keys triggers full-length samples, resulting in a sound that is just as natural as the overall feel of the keyboard. A large collection of ultra-dynamic and realistic electric pianos are also part of the deal, as are a number of popular vintage effects, including phaser and tremolo. The built-in drums of the Korg Krome 88-key workstation sound better than ever before. The Krome features separately mixable direct and ambient sounds and more than 600 drum tracks for instant inspiration. With a single press of a button you can play back a rhythm that perfectly matches the particular sound you're using.
User-friendliness and versatility
The Krome workstation really comes into its own when you use it on stage. For a model with 88 weighted keys, it is remarkably lightweight. Its clearly illuminated buttons and live performance controls offer you everything you need for quick sound adjustments during intense live shows. The heart of the Krome is a redesigned 7-inch widescreen Touchview colour display, which allows you to activate sounds and functions by touch, to drag them and to swype. All required controls, levels and information are displayed in high resolution. The Korg Krome 88-key workstation offers a wide range of powerful production tools, including a touch-controlled 16-track sequencer. Thanks to a piano-roll editor you can bring your music to life using all the effects and mastering tools you'd expect from a full-fledged Korg workstation.
