After the overwhelming success of the polyphonic minilogue, KORG introduces the monophonic monologue synthesizer. It looks a lot like its predecessor, but under the bonnet, it's been fully revamped to offer optimal monophonic possibilities. This fully-analogue synth has an improved filter, modulation section, drive circuit and LFO. The filter ensures extra powerful low tones and the drive circuit places emphasis on the lead sounds like never before. The LFO with One Shot mode produces high frequencies and modulated sounds like you've never heard before. If you want to see as well as hear all the synth mayhem you're creating, there's a built-in OLED display with an oscilloscope.

For starters, the step sequencer of this ingenious instrument is easy to operate via the motion sequence. On top of that, the monologue is fully-programmable, as well as the aforementioned sequences. If you're a real synthesizer fanatic, chances are you own more than one synth. By means of the available connection options, you can hook the monologue up to your MIDI controllers, pad controllers, sequencers and DAWs. Using Audio Sync, you can easily integrate it into a KORG setup with your volca keys, electribe, minilogue and, naturally, your SQ-1.
