The Vermona PERfourMER MKII CV/Gate analogue synthesizer is a machine of opposites. An army of control pots are lined up across its face and are split into four rows of identical controls for four mono synths. Technically, these four mono-synths can function simultaneously and harmoniously, giving you an excuse to use every pot available. Whether using one or four, the flexibility and warmth of the analogue sound remains remarkable. This desktop can be played in monophone, duophone or polyphone and, if you want to play polyphonically with the same sound, then the sound can be manually copied to each mono-synth. Of course, if you're looking for a little more variation, simply lightly play around with the LFO rate or envelope attack to add some subtle deviations.

The Fine Features of the Vermona PERfourMER MKII CV/Gate

The list of waveforms offered by the VCO will be familiar to any analogue synth fan: sine, triangle, block, sawtooth, noise and external input. More pulse width settings can be configured via MIDI. Depending on the playing mode, hard-sync and FM synthesis can be applied between oscillators to open up a fat magic box of sounds and confirming our suspicions that the PERfourMER is far more extensive than expected at first glance. Besides MIDI, this version comes with CV/gate ports fitted for eased integration with something like a compatible CV/Gate modular system. To finish, a set of rack-ears comes included for neat 19" rack installation.
