The ever increasing quality of PA speakers requires equal microphone quality! This Avantone Atom is a high-quality tom microphone that perfectly fits in Avantone's drum microphone series. It's ideal for live use, as well as studio recordings. In order to optimally reproduce the sound of a tom, this microphone has a special voicing which gives it a big sound. The metal housing keeps it safe from harm.
Avantone Atom tom microphone: applications
In order to counter annoying ambient noises, Avantone include a shock mount with this Atom. Handling noise (which is obviously always present with a moving snare) is countered in this way. A practical fastening clip is also included, so that the microphone can easily be mounted to the rim of the drum. This Atom is not just fit for amplifying toms, you can also use it to amplify brass instruments and percussion. All in all, this is a versatile microphone!
