The Sennheiser E 604 is the ideal microphone for toms, snares and other percussion instruments. This dynamic microphone can easily be fastened to your instrument via a practical clip, so that you can optimally position the microphone for the best possible sound. The E 604 can handle a maximum sound pressure of 160 dB, so that it is also suited for brass and woodwind instruments. Thanks to the diaphragm's light weight, it ideally responds to transients, perfect for percussion and drums! With this Evolution 3 pack E 604, you can provide a standard drum kit with microphones.

The Sennheiser Evolution 3-Pack E 604: The Sound

For toms the MD 421 is often used. This microphone requires a durable stand, however, and is quite large so that there's a chance that the drummer might hit it. Sennheiser have designed the E 604 so that it sounds like the MD 421, but has a much smaller housing. It has a wonderfully open sound and a frequency range of 40 Hz - 18 kHz. Its cardioid pickup pattern makes it insensitive to feedback.

Handige en kwalitatieve set drum microfoontjes. door dat ze tamelijk klein zijn in vorm geven ze helemaal geen hinder voor de drummer.

Uitpakken, op de Toms klikken en de recorder aan...
En het werkt!
Klinkt als de Toms waar ze opzitten, eigenlijk weinig EQ nodig.
Ruimt ook enorm op wat betreft het bos aan stands om je drumkit. Ik organiseer ook de opnames dus ik wil makkelijk heen en weer kunnen lopen.
Voor live performance zijn dit ook geweldige microfoons, degelijk van bouw, betrouwbare montage en een goed geluid :)
