General

Roland presents the VT-4 Voice Transformer. An effect device for far-reaching shaping of the human voice. You can power it with 4 AA batteries or via the USB connection, so it is excellent for travelling. It is also slightly more compact and lighter than its predecessor. Pitch shifter, harmoniser, hard tuning and vocoder are some of the effects at your disposal to give your voice a distinctive sound. Also, with this VT, you don't need a computer to use high-quality formant and pitch effects. Not only singers and voice artists, but online gamers, YouTubers, spoken word artists and podcasters can use this Roland effects device to make their voices stand out above the crowd. With this set that includes a microphone, an XLR cable and a 6.35 mm mono jack cable, you can get started right away.

VT-4: control with your keyboard and easy to operate

Using the MIDI connector, you can also control this voice transformer with a MIDI-enabled synthesiser or keyboard. Various effects are thus easy to control and you can also create harmonies with the chord shapes you play on the keyboard. Very handy for quickly playing background parts, for example, when you don't have a choir at your disposal.
