General

The Mackie Trash15v2 is the slightly larger version of the Trash12v2. Same philosophy, more bass: the Trash15v2 brings the raw power and smart technology of a Mackie powered loudspeaker within everyone’s reach. Loud and clear, with a superb sound and more body thanks to the 15-inch woofer. In terms of amplification, there’s nothing to complain about with a generous 1300W. It’s practical too: sturdy handles on a plastic cabinet. Thanks to the latter, it’s reasonably easy to transport – which is important, as this is exactly the sort of loudspeaker typically used by touring speakers and vocalists.

Features of the Mackie Trash15v2

Bluetooth is ideal for precisely this mobile user group. You can stream from your phone to this speaker, and that becomes your background music – your own band in your pocket! You can, of course, use two speakers together; simply route the signal from one to the other. No need to worry about sudden peaks; there’s a built-in limiter to prevent that. You won’t experience any problems with feedback with this speaker either, thanks to the built-in feedback suppressor. Another handy feature: the feedback suppressor means you won’t have to worry about feedback if you hold the mic too close to a speaker.
