Speakers just keep getting better and better - and JBL is an important culprit. The company has an excellent reputation where it comes to making fantastic speakers. This SRX812P from their SRX800 series, for example, is a modern speaker that combines network compatibility with a great sound and lots of power: peaks of op to 2,000 watts are no problem at all! As its type number suggests, this speaker cabinet houses a 12-inch woofer. Thanks to a 90x50-degree projection, you can rest assured you reach every corner in the room! What's more, you can also use this speaker as a monitor.

JBL SRX812P: loud, defined and incredibly versatile

A built-in amplifier - made by amp-maker Crown - thrusts the speakers to whole new planes and allows them to produce sound levels up to a massive 136 dB at 48 Hz to 20 kHz with an accuracy of +/- 3 dB. Great performance! The housing of this speaker is made of wood and fitted with two handles and rigging points for M10 fly eyelets. Additionally, you can also put the speaker on a stand conventionally or at an angle. All in all, numerous options!

HiQnet

Every speaker of the SRX800 series features a HiQnet module that allows you to set up a full speaker system quickly and easily. You can connect the speakers via a LAN cable to a wireless router and subsequently use an Android or iOS device to set up all connected speakers. Via HiQnet, an EQ, a compressor, a crossover, a limiter and a delay are at your disposal. Moreover, HiQnet can also adjust the settings automatically based on pre-set settings. You no longer need a speaker management system!

Wrote the following about JBL SRX812P active speaker

De doos arriveerde binnen 4 dagen in Duitsland. De verzending was prima, de verpakking was intact. De speaker levert het volledige geluidsspectrum zoals verwacht. Heldere hoge tonen, een krachtige kick en een diepe bas. Natuurlijk is een subwoofer nodig om grotere ruimtes te vullen. Maar voor mijn doeleinden voldeed de DJ-monitor perfect aan de verwachtingen. De vorige PRX-serie kan in de nieuwe generatie niet tippen aan de oude modellen uit 2010x, dit is een adequate vervanging, maar wel 10 kg zwaarder 😅

Wrote the following about JBL SRX812P active speaker

Eigenlijk altijd een JBL fan geweest, maar nooit het budget ervoor.
Ik draai met name bruiloften en feesten tot 100 man. Ik begon met de EV ELX115p en later aangevuld met de subs.
De toppen klonken OK maar mis het laag dus vandaar de subs. Hier een beste tijd mee gedaan, maar om alles steeds in de auto te stoppen, ben ik overgestapt op de SRX 812P.
Mede vanwege de specificaties gekozen voor dit model ten opzichte van de 815p, wat in theorie een logische stap zou zijn.
Echter denk ik ook aan m'n rug en dan zijn de 15s toch even aan de zware kant.
Ik heb nog geen feest gedraait behalve de speakers in de tuin.
Wat een geluid, strak helder en ook voor de maat met een goede punch.
Er is een app de SRX connect voor deze speakers, maar die is zo gedateerd dat je er niks aan hebt.
Met een oude android tablet kan je er nog wat uit halen als je wilt, maar tot nu toe voor mij nog niet echt een toevoeging.

De bouw is verschrikkelijk stevig. De handgreep bovenop is ideaal!

Geef je een tik tegen een EV elx115p dan hoor je een hole kast. De SRX is gewoon een stevig blok.
Tot nu toe erg blij mee!

Super degelijke en professionele speakers, meer dan genoeg power voor een klein feest, en makkelijk enkel te gebruiken vanwege de 2 inputs, HiqNet presets kan je zelf in de speaker zetten.

Zeer goeie speaker voor die prijs!
