Yamaha is known for their fantastic-sounding compact mixers, great for many purposes. Whether you're a DJ who needs extra channels or you need to amplify a band, there's a mixer to suit your needs. The MGP series is a group of PA mixers combining the advantages of both analogue and digital mixers.
Because every mixer in the Yamaha MGP Series is fitted with high-quality, Class-A D-PRE preamps per channel and X-Pressive EQ, this PA mixer produces a warm, authentic sound. There are two different digital effect sections available for coating your input signals with the effects (namely the SPX and the REV-X processors). These provide studio-quality effects and open up a world of possibilities. The MGP mixers are known as hybrids because they have an analogue build with modern DSP power, which is great because it means you can stream live audio by just conveniently connecting your IOS device directly to your mixer via either of the two USB ports. You can even change effect settings via your iPhone or iPad. Use the second USB port to connect an external USB drive and record your stereo output signal directly. All of this combines to give you a versatile mixer that's great for bands, theatres, school and more.
All of the mixers from the MGP series have a built-in priority ducker feature which automatically lowers the music on the stereo channel when a microphone is being used, so the audience can always hear the speaker. The leveller is a handy function that evens out the volume of the different music sources you might be using, so you'll never have to worry about dramatic volume changes when switching between an MP3 player and a CD player. Finally, the Stereo Image function corrects any balance inconsistencies that might occur when there's a large or uneven distance between the speakers. These functions make the MGP32X an excellent choice for permanent installations in hospitality businesses, schools and theatres. Because of its compact build, this mixer is also incredibly effective for DJs and bands on the road.
