General

With the ZED-436 you are getting your hands on a highly extensive and super-durable mixer. The ZED-436 features 32 high-grade microphone/line inputs, two stereo inputs and a built-in USB interface. It is therefore suited for big bands, amplification of (church) choirs, and various on-stage and AV applications.

The inputs and outputs of the ZED-436

High-grade DuoPre TM microphone/line preamps are featured on each of the 32 mono channels. They are characterised by a low signal/noise ratio and considerable headroom. Furthermore, each channel features a 4-band equalizer with two swept mids and an in/out switch. Six auxiliaries are also provided, and the buses can be switched per channel. The mixer has a durable construction and can therefore take a few knocks. Each rotary knob is fastened to the housing with a metal nut.

A configurable USB interface

The Allen & Heath ZED436 is also equipped with a built-in USB interface, which allows you to create an instant recording with the help of your computer. Thanks to the different USB send options - Main Mix (pre and post fader), AUXes 1-2 or 5-6, and Matrix 1-2 - you can decide which signal you want to record.
