General

Yamaha boasts a rich history of manufacturing mixers, and they've learned a lot about the craft along the way. We can see this history and knowledge in every last detail of the compact and versatile MG10. This is a mixer that works in many different applications whether it be as fixed installation in a cafe or a mixing panel in a practice room. It certainly helps that the compact dimensions make it great for mobile applications.

A Overview of the MG10

When you look at the MG10, you'll see that it's divided up into three sections: mono channels, stereo channels and the master bus. You have 4 mono channels at your disposal that are equipped with a 3-band EQ, AUX control, a pan button and a volume button. The first channels additionally feature a compressor that you can use to keep the dynamics of a particular channel in check. The stereo channels provide a 2-band EQ, and are otherwise the same as the mono channels. The master bus provides a selection of outputs including the main output and the monitor output, and you can control the volume of the latter separately should you so choose. It's also possible to make an entirely separate mono mix with the AUX output.

Fijne mixer, met als enig minpuntje, hij wordt erg warm! Verder doet hij wat hij doen moet.

Klein maar degelijke mixer en doet wat het moet doen, maar ik vind het vreemd dat de ''Levelmeter'' alleen werkt bij een via XLR aangesloten microfoon op kanalen 1 t/m 4 . Sluit ik apparatuur aan op de LINE ingangen 5 t/m 10 en RCA ingangen 5/6 + 7/8 dan werkt de ''levelmeter'' niet. ? Heb de vraag zowel bij ''Bax Music'' als ''Yamaha'' neergelegd want in de handleiding is daar niets over terug te vinden.
Op mijn oude mixer werkte de levelmeter gewoon op ieder kanaal dus vandaar de ontstane verwarring.
Maar ondanks dit zou ik deze mixer toch aanraden.

Leuk ding en doet wat ie doen moet. Lijkt stevig, de adapter en de aansluiting daarvan is dat zeker. Waren ze allemaal maar zo, met aan beide kanten degelijke kabels. Slechts één lijningang is op links ook mono dus heb je meer nodig dan zal er een verloopje tussen moeten. Geen analoge rec out, digitale gebeuren heb ik niet getest, zo ook de compressors op 1 en 2 niet. Oh ja, op de lijningangen (jack pluggen) zit geen gain knop, dat is wel jammer.
