Following a worthwhile stretch of R&D, Lehle are happy to present the Mono Volume S: a superior volume pedal that's half the weight and almost half the size of Lehle's original Mono Volume pedal. At the same time, this extra-compact edition is no less efficient, durable or accurate, courtesy of a highly precise, magnetic Hall sensor combined with low-friction bearings and digital potentiometers that do away with mechanical wear, noise and expensive repairs down the road. Powered by a special ARM Cortex CPU that controls an integrated analogue VCA, the Mono Volume S supports spot-on volume tweaks across a massive, 120dB dynamic range.

The Mono Volume S: Boost Function, MIDI Support and More

While it offers smooth action as standard, the Lehle Mono Volume S can be set up as preferred via the fitted adjustment screw and has been equipped with a standard output as well as a buffered output in case you want to stick your sound through another pedal. It even packs a boost function (max. 12dB) and comes polished off with a USB port so you can effortlessly control any MIDI-compatible software.

Wrote the following about Lehle Mono Volume S Guitar Pedal

Really robust professional volume pedal. Requires 9v 150ma power from a power supply rather than battery. Works to buffer the impedance - so great at the start of a pedal fx signal chain. Has flange mountings so can be attached with screws/bolts to a pedal board. Can be easily configured to boost the level. Has an additional direct unattenuated output for eg a tuning pedal. Pedal position remains where it was left - this is adjustable so presumably if it starts to flop can be tightened again. Not cheap, but pedals get a lot of use gigging , and hopefully this one won’t let me down on stage
