St. James 100 Head: impressive flexibility on top of great versatility
Thus, this Blackstar amplifier head already offers you impressive flexibility through its dual configuration in terms of output stage tubes. Indeed, in the power amp you will encounter both 6L6 and EL34 tubes. Here you can choose between a 50-watt mode with 1 of the 2 types of tubes or deploy the full power of 100 watts with both these tube types. This is on top of an already great versatility of the 4 channels (clean, crunch, od1, od2) of this guitar amp. The tonal possibilities are further enhanced by cut selector with its 3 modes, which allows you to subtly adjust the higher frequencies of the tube sound. So you can simply vary from tight, contemporary to classic warm in terms of your guitar sounds.
