The Electro Harmonix Bass Preacher has been designed iron out the dynamic discrepancies in your playing. This sustainer-and-compressor pedal in stompbox form makes sure your sound is consistent, no matter the intensity of your plucking or strumming, and comes fitted with a 3-way attack switch for setting the compression to either slow, medium or fast. As a nice bonus, it's compatible with electric guitars as well.

The Electro Harmonix Bass Preacher: Variable Compression

When set to Fast Attack, the Bass Preacher offers a 20ms response, while in Medium mode, the response time drops to 50ms, leaving a smoother, more defined sound. In Slow mode, you get 100ms response and the softest compression out of the three selectable settings. This true bypass bass pedal can be powered using 9V batteries (included) or a compatible pedal power supply.
