General

The MXR Dyna Comp from the 1970s is praised for its unique sound and performance. The pedal makes the overall sound a lot tighter and adds a load of sustain. The sound of a guitar compressor can also be extremely nice for so-called strumming chords or country-style solos with lots of spikes in volume.

Script: not cryptic

MXR Dyna Comp is easy to adjust using the two available controls (output and sensitivity), which take care of the output volume and compression strength respectively. Whereas the original Dyna Comp did not have an LED and adapter connector, the Script Dyna Comp does, making it extra easy to use. Looking for a vintage compressor with modern gimmicks? The MXR Script Dyna Comp offers it!
