Of the three crash cymbals in Paiste's Modern Essentials series, the Formula 602 Modern Essentials 18-inch Crash is the middle model. The loudness that this cymbal gives you ranges from soft to loud. The attack is bright shimmering, washy and soft. The timbre, which can be described as transparent, is excellent for a multitude of musical genres. From pop to country, R&B to rock, this cymbal will not let you down, a high-quality product for your drum kit.
Modern Essentials
The Modern Essential series is the result of a collaboration between Swiss Paiste and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta. An excellent choice, the best man has a huge list of artists on his CV. Among others, Tori Amos, Nik Kershaw, The Beach Boys, Tony Banks, Duran Duran, Dan Fogelberg and Eros Ramazzotti have already been allowed to use Colaiuta's qualities for their albums. Besides crash cymbals, the range also includes ride, china and splash cymbals, as well as hihats.
