This Yamaha Stage Custom Birch Honey Amber drum set is quite versatile and features birch shells for excellent projection. This set has a true rock configuration with one 22-inch bass drum, a 10 and 12-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum. It also comes with the Yamaha HW-680 hardware package consisting of 4 stands and a bass drum pedal. Just as we expect from Yamaha, this is a great mid-class drum set with fantastic quality.

Stage Custom Birch shell set: rock configuration

This five-piece set features top-quality 6-ply 100% birch shells for a solid set with great projection. The bass drum is a little bigger than average at 22 inches, and offers a nice, deep sound, while the floor tom also has a slightly larger-than-average size (16 inches) for added fullness. This configuration is known as the American rock configuration, and you'll probably recognize it from many of your favourite bands. To finish off the set, you'll also find a 10 and a 12-inch tom that are easy to mount, thanks to the YESS mounting system.

Bass drum

The bass drum hardware has been updated, and now features clamps with a rubber layer to prevent damage to the shell and to avoid hardware sound. Furthermore, bass drum stoppers have been added to prevent your set from moving around when you play hard, and to make it easier to set up, making it ideal for live performances.

Stands

The hardware included in this set is from the Yamaha HW-680 series, which is known for its light weight and compact size. Two cymbal stands with tilters, a hi-hat stand, a snare stand and a bass drum pedal make the set complete. All in all this is an excellent performance set for beginners and advanced drummers!
