The SE Electronics V Beat instrument microphone gives a very detailed and clear sound, even when placed very close to a snare or tom. With its supercardioid directional characteristic, it largely keeps out background noise. In short, everything you expect from a snare/tom microphone. The V Beat is kept nice and compact, partly because the XLR connection is integrated into the stand adapter. With the separately available V Clamp, you can attach the V Beat to virtually any clamping edge.
