General
In the old days, Grandpa tells us, people also had the need for the spaciousness we now call reverb and delay. But back then, there were no VSTs, there weren't even affordable chips. But there was tape! And so people used to make a piece of tape that kept spinning infinitely on which was recorded continuously, while another head read the signal again and sent it to the output. Apart from a delayed signal, you also got the famous tape saturation with it, and that's exactly what producers like the sound of. Forget those clunky machines, and continue your path with IK Multimedia T-RackS Tape Echo, a plug-in for the free T-RackS CS. The same effect, but affordable, reliable and versatile.
