The solid alder body offers balanced acoustic resonance, while the flamed maple neck has been roasted to boost stability and comes finished in a buttery-smooth satin-gloss. The matching roasted flame maple fretboard has a flat and fast 12 inch radius and a full-range set of twenty-two medium frets, providing snug comfort all the way up the neck whether spinning riffs and licks or grabbing chords. The special GTRS pickup configuration plants a humbucker at the bridge and two noiseless single-coils in the middle and neck positions - each voiced by Alnico V magnets to result in dynamic tone and an open sonic character. On top of that, tuning stability is assured by a set of locking machine heads, a solid Wilkinson VS 50 II bridge and a Graph Tech TusQ nut.
