General

With the Sun Valley Super Shredder, Schecter drop a fully honed samurai of a model complete with high-grade specs and lightning fast playability. The Super-Strat body shape is completed by a Thin-C profile neck and an ebony fretboard loaded with twenty-four extra-jumbo frets, which combine with a modern 14 inch radius to complete a controlled grip, an ultra-light feel beneath the fret-hand, and limited note-death. And, when it comes to the aesthetics, the offset dot position markers flip sides at the twelfth fret to lend this model its classic yet effortless look.

The Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder with Sustainiac

What marks this model out from other Super-Strats is that exclusive Sustainiac: an active system that enables endless sustain, so notes can literally be held for days. The fitted mini-switch flips through the three Sustainiac modes: Fundamental, Mix and Harmonic. So, in the first position, you get treated to insane, ultra-long sustain; in the third position, you can experiment with an added harmonic overtone; and in the second position, you can make a sweet blend of the two.

An EMG Retro Active Hot Humbucker & Floyd Rose Special Bridge

Besides the Sustainiac at the neck, an EMG Retro Active Hot 70 humbucker has been planted at the bridge and boasts a ceramic core which, combined with the resonant solid mahogany body guarantees a meaty, high-output, while the smart design ensures the level of dynamic articulation you would expect from a passive pickup. Polishing off a solid hardware pack and a more-than solid build, the Floyd Rose Special Hot Rod double locking tremolo bridge has been forged from stainless steel, which doesn't just boost stability but counters corrosion.
