The Pacifica 212VQM is equipped with an HSS pickup configuration, which means that you're offered the tone-shaping services of a humbucker and two single-coils - all made using Alnico V magnets. As such, you get to engage the bridge-mounted, high-output humbucker when you're feeling hard-rock or heavy metal, have the single-coils sculpt more bright and vintage-flavoured sounds, or coil-split the humbucker mid-solo using the push-pull and change up the sound completely.
