General
The Yamaha Revstar Professional Series offers just about the highest possible build quality you could get, and just to make it clear, this RSP20X comes in a Rusty Brass Charcoal finish. While Revstars are already known for their lightweight, manageable build, the demanding luthiers at Yamaha figured they could do even better by using the patented Acoustic Design method to hollow out the body before reinforcing the construction with strips of carbon - all aimed at creating the optimum balance in terms of weight as well as sound. Entirely made in Japan, this top-shelf electric guitar comes complete with a hard-shell case.
The Revstar Professional RSP20X: An All-In Axe
From the subtle yet stylish high-gloss paint-job to the high-end hardware, it's obvious that Yamaha have gone all-in for their latest flagship model. doesn’t just support effortless playability but comes with high-quality stainless steel frets, and instead of synthetic material, the pickguard has been fashioned from specially anodised aluminium. On top of all of that, guitarists are treated to a rosewood fretboard and an extremely user-friendly Tune-O-Matic bridge.
Humbuckers Combined With a 5-Way Switch for Maximum Versatility
Whether you love ultra-clean tone, straight-up rock or something rich and jazzy, the Revstar Professional RSP20X has got you covered. The humbuckers at the neck and bridge are well-matched and team up to produce a forceful, focussed sound, while the 5-way toggle switch makes sure you've got a wide tonal spectrum to explore. The tone pot even comes equipped with what Yamaha have dubbed the Focus switch - flip it and you'll get treated a more aggressive, rock-ready sound full of boosted lows and mids.
