Prima geluid kwaliteit, zowel microfoon ingang als de externe input.

Fijne recorder voor mijn video werk. Dat je de audio op kan nemen op de Tascam èn door kan leiden naar je camera maakt al meteen dat je veel extra zekerheid kan creëren. Zo kan je de recorder al als safety-track gebruiken door op de recorder gewoon 6 of 10 db lager op te nemen (of dat juist op je camera te doen). Dan hoef je niet eens 32 bit float te gebruiken. Maar juist die 32 bit float geeft natuurlijk zoveel extra in moeilijke omstandigheden dat dat voor mij wel een doorslaggevend argument was voor de aanschaf.
De recorder is lekker compact en licht. Daardoor werkt hij helaas wel met maar 3xAA batterijen of accu's. Die zijn wel sneller leeg dan ik had gehoopt, maar zeker niet problematisch. En misschien moet ik nog wat twerken aan de display settings om dat te verbeteren.
Ik heb hem tot nog toe gebruikt met twee SE Electronics SE8's en ben heel erg tevreden over de kwaliteit van de opnames.
Kortom, wat mij betreft een absolute aanrader.

Na 1 week “spelen” en aanpassen aan de setup kan ik zeggen dat de preamps beter klinken met mijn stem dan de zoom F3 preamps, maar minder mooi dan de high end preamps die ik tot mn beschikking heb. Maar helaas zijn geen van deze preamps 32float. 32 bit float maakt inderdaad dat je vervormde stukken in
bv protools met clipgain
weer “normaal” kan maken. Moet eerst meer ervaring op doen dan alleen deze week alvorens een definitief oordeel te kunnen vellen. De app met bluetooth werkt behoorlijk goed. Er zijn maar een paar “bugs” geweldig dat je over bluetooth kan monitoren. Jammer dat he geen files kan overzetten naar je telefoon via bluetooth. Als audio interface moet ik nog testen. So far So good…
