General
Dreaming of a homebuilt guitar, but not sure where to start? This Boston KIT-LPJ-15 kit will help you get started. You immediately get all the parts you need for a beautiful, solidbody electric guitar, ready for assembly. All the wood has been sawn, planed and milled, the finish (with lacquer or varnish) still needs to be done by you and is therefore completely up to you. The neck, which is mahogany like the body, has a pau ferro fretboard on which the frets have already been neatly fitted. Furthermore, all hardware and electronics are supplied ready to use, from the wraparound bridge and chrome tuners to the P-90 element, two potentiometers and all necessary screws and cables. With this self-assembly kit, anyone with minimal woodworking knowledge can experience what it's like to build an instrument, without having to buy expensive equipment right away. And the fact that you can play your own self-designed guitar afterwards is a nice bonus!
