General

Roland went through a time when a lot of things were sci-fi, and there were sometimes astronomical prices attached to that. Everyone knows the Jupiters and Junos, but there was also a Jupiter-4, aka the Promars. Cherry Audio has made this vintage synthesiser virtual, under the new name Mercury-4, so we keep floating around in our solar system. It is a very good all-round synthesiser, and you do recognise things in it that you would later find in the Jupiters. For this small investment, it's a great addition to your virtual synth collection!
