A synth-based household name, Roland have created digital emulations of many of their best-loved vintage synth-monsters and made them available via the Roland Cloud. Here, you can download your very own legend in the form of the JV-1080. Back in the day, the hardware version of this virtual synthesizer was a real workhorse for countless producers, mainly due to the 64-voice polyphony which was huge back in the early nineties. A great tool for any in-the-box producer, this classic synth comes loaded with a fat stack of samples but also gives you plenty of tools for creating your own sounds.
