General

The XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2 - Pop Collection combines two excellent virtual drum libraries: United Pop and Indie. The United Pop library was recorded in a studio still designed by Bill Putnam (engeneer, founder of Universal Audio). The drum kit in question is made up of cymbals from Leedy & Ludwig, with an additional snare from Trump, and cymbals from Zildian and United Pop. The other library - Indie - in this set was recorded at Svenska Grammofon Studion, and includes kettles by ICE and Premier, with cymbals by Zildjian, Paiste and ICE. Nice detail: the Indie samples were rushed through an analogue tape, for that typical tape sound.
