General
Designed with the expert help of David Royer from Royer Microphones, the Mojave MA-1000 packs the warm and familiar sound of an NOS 5840 tube and a 251-style capsule combined with a custom transformer built by Coast Magnetics. This breathtaking large-diaphragm condenser microphone piles sugar-coated trebles on top of tight, accurate bass and, as part of Mohave's first-class Signature Series, it's been extensively tested to make sure it can holds its own against microphones that cost nearly seven times as much. As well as a 15dB PAD, the MA-1000 DS has been outfitted with a low cut filter.
Variable Pickup Pattern
Boasting a continuously variable pickup pattern that can be controlled remotely, the MA-1000 can serve virtually any purpose. This high-end valve microphone comes complete with a patented Royer Labs Sling Shock mount, a Mogami cable with Neutrik plugs, and a power supply with variable voltage for international use. Add it all up and it's safe to say that the Mojave MA-1000 DS is shaping up to become a new American classic.
