The Neumann M147 Tube is a vacuum tube condenser microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern.
Use of the M 147 Tube
The tube amplifies the signal of the capsule with approximately 10 dB, countering any signal loss. It can be used with long mic cables, without the audio quality suffering for it.
The combination of the capsule and the tube characteristics make it a perfect vocal mic, but it can also be used for all manner of musical instruments. The capsule has a flat frequency response and a boost of up to 3 dB above 2 kHz.
Universal tube microphone with high sound quality
Its wide frequency response allows the microphone to pick up very low frequencies without distortion. The grille effectively protects the capsule against popping and wind noises.

Heel fijn op sommige stemmen, fantastisch op akoestische gitaar of contrabas.
Heb hem ook al voor een cajon gezet waar hij heel tof zowel het laag als de attack opnam.
