The Warm Audio WA-87 R2 Black is based on a certain German design that's long earned its stripes within popular music. Just like the 'standard' WA-87, this large-diaphragm condenser microphone boasts 'forward' sound supported by the satisfying saturation of a Cinemag output transformer. Warm Audio have completed the WA-87 R2 with three pickup patterns, a low-pass filter and a -10 dB pad switch, and thoughtfully include a shock mount, microphone clip and a deluxe case.
