Reviving the CK12 capsule that made many a German and Austrian classic famous and wrapping it up in a TAB-Funkenwerk transformer, the Warm Audio WA-CX12 captures lifelike sound and satin-coated trebles that are never in danger of getting shrill. This valve-driven large-diaphragm condenser is as ideal for miking up a piano as it is for vocals, and as a fitting bonus, even comes bundled up with a shockmount and deluxe case.
