General

The Rycote PCS-Boom connector is a quick attach/quick release connection system from Rycote. It attaches between your boom pole and accessory. Use it to attach and release equipment quickly, firmly and without noise on 3/8-inch screw thread. During a film job or sound recording, it is sometimes vital to quickly change microphone, windshield or camera. Rycote recognised this and created this time-efficient and noiseless system. Squeeze the centre of the connector with one hand to release it. THE PCS-Boom grips the thread of the boom pole without damaging it. It has a load capacity of up to 10 kilos.
