General
For serious AV applications with the Shure VP89M shotgun microphone, a good shielding against wind noise is indispensable. In collaboration with hardware manufacturer Rycote, Shure have developed this A89SW-KIT windscreen kit. This set consists of a grip with suspension, a blimp and a deadcat, made of synthetic fur.
Storm
Even moderate gushes of wind can sound stormy in your recordings, making interviewees unintelligible. ENG professionals can therefore not go without a windscreen kit in their gear. Therefore, this professional Shure A89MW-KIT is the right choice for anyone who regularly works with the VP89M shotgun microphone.
